City Administrator John Butz (pictured left) gives a “Community of Choice”
PowerPoint presentation to members of the American Association of Retired
Persons (AARP), Chapter 4619 at Eugene Northern Community Hall on Monday, Feb.
4.
John provided a snapshot of City operations, and significant projects that
have recently been completed in the Rolla community or that are currently underway,
including everything from the City’s sales tax revenue projections,
construction activity, retail activity, and even industrial and economic
development activity.
This presentation was the third John has
given to civic clubs and groups throughout the Rolla area within the first few
weeks of 2013.
The presentations provide a unique opportunity for citizens and
members of the community to offer valuable input and feedback to the City, and
to help foster an open line of communication.
