Body Dementia
Awareness
Day in Rolla

health and fitness, and he loved running, which he passed onto his daughters.
In an effort to bring more awareness
and understanding regarding Lewy Body Dementia, the Haskell family, including
Jane and her daughters, Joannie, Ann and Dana, will be hosting the Coach
Haskell 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Rolla Junior High Hill.

Parking Lot Stencils
encourage motorists
to Buckle Up
The Missouri
Coalition for Roadway Safety is reminding area school districts and businesses
they can request parking lot stencils that encourage motorists to buckle up and
Arrive Alive.
The reusable stencils are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Designs can be painted on concrete or asphalt surfaces in parking lots and driveways of schools and businesses. Those requesting the stencils must provide their own paint and manpower.
Traffic fatalities in Missouri are up 13 percent for the year, and 63 percent of those killed in traffic crashes this year were not wearing their seat belts.
For more information about the stencils or other highway safety resources available to help educate students about safe driving practices, call 1-888-275-6636 or log onto http://www.savemolives.com/.
