Mayor Jenks recognizes contributions of long-time City officials for service to City and Rolla community


groupRolla Mayor Bill Jenks, III, and members of the Rolla City Council, recognized and thanked three long-time City officials during the Dec. 20, 2010 Rolla City Council meeting held at Rolla City Hall.

Together, Judge Hickle, Dr. Stoffer and John Beger served the City of Rolla and its citizens for over 72 years. Judge Hickle, who served as Rolla Municipal Judge for over 14 years, was recently elected as Phelps County's Associate Circuit Judge. John Beger (of the Beger and Bushie Law Firm), who served as Rolla City Attorney for for over 15 years, was recently elected as Phelps County's new Prosecuting Attorney. Dr. James Stoffer, who served as President and long-time board member on the Rolla Board of Public Works, and the City's Planning and Zoning Commission for a combined total of 43 years, will be spending more time with his family.
The Rolla City Council, and the City of Rolla extends their appreciation and gratitude to Judge Hickle, John Beger and Dr. Stoffer for their many years of service and dedication to the citizens of Rolla.
