Mayor Jenks proclaims “National FFA Week” in Rolla


Rolla Mayor Bill Jenks, III met with officers of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) Rolla Chapter at Rolla City Hall to sign a “National FFA Week” proclamation (Feb. 17-23, 2013). Mayor Jenks thanked the student officers for their efforts and accomplishments in the Rolla FFA Chapter.

The FFA Rolla Chapter, founded in 1928, consists of 200 members who attend a variety of FFA classes, community service projects, and civic engagements. The FFA motto is: “Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, living to serve.” FFA promotes citizenship, leadership, personal growth and career success among its members.
