The Rolla Parks and Recreation Department will host
four tennis tournaments in one during the 7th Annual Luck of the
Irish Adult Open Tennis Tournament.
There will be a tournament for USTA members only
and a tournament for those players that just want to play for fun.
Most matches
will be played Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 17
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (finals) at the Ber Juan Tennis Complex located in Ber
Juan Park at the corner of Holloway and 4th Streets.
Players much be 18 years old or older to
participate in the Men’s Singles; Women’s Singles; Men’s Doubles; Women’s
Doubles and Mixed Doubles. The fee to enter the tournament is $15 for singles
and $25 for doubles. Registration deadline is March 11.
Those playing in the
Non-Sanctioned Tennis Tournament can register at The Centre (1200 N. Holloway)
or over the phone at 341-2386. Those playing in the USTA Sanctioned Tournament
must sign-up on-line at www.usta.com.
