Celebration of Nations well supported by public

Hundreds of folks turned out for the 2nd Annual Celebration of Nations held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 in downtown Rolla. Rolla Mayor Bill Jenks, III and Dr. Kent Wray, Interim Chancellor of Missouri S&T were the parade marshals who also welcomed everyone at the downtown bandshell following the parade.
A huge international festival, including numerous booths, international foods, and exhibits was held in the downtown festival lot, while the International Idol competition was held at the bandshell.
