Mayor Jenks recognizes 30th Anniversary of Brewer Science, Inc.

Rolla Mayor Bill Jenks, III joined members of the Rolla City Council on Aug. 1, 2011 in recognizing and paying tribute to Brewer Science, Inc., as the well known Rolla-based company celebrates its 30th Anniversary.

Founded in 1981 by Dr. Terry Brewer, owner and president, Brewer Science has fostered its commitment to its employees, to its customers, and to technology, and has grown in size from three employees based in Rolla to more than 300 employees located around the world. For 30 years, Brewer Science has consistently developed and delivered innovative materials, processes, and equipment for the semiconductor, advanced packaging/3-D integrated circuit, MEMS, display, LED, and printed electronic markets used to create ultra small electronics that enable devices such as tablet computers, smart phones, digital cameras, flat-panel monitors, and TVs, and LED lighting.
Brewer Science has broken ground five times to expand its global headquarters facility, located in Rolla, Missouri, and has expanded its presence in Springfield, Missouri as well as globally by opening offices in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, France, Germany and England; and 
As one of the bedrock pillars of the Rolla community, Brewer Science continues to receive local, state and international recognition for their cutting edge technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and other outreach and philanthropic programs. For all of this and more, the City of Rolla and Rolla citizens extend a special thanks and appreciation for the many ways Brewer Science has contributed to the Rolla community over the past 30 years.
