Town & Country Bank Robbery

On December 18th, 2009 at approximately 9:14 am the Rolla Police Department received a 911 call indicating that there had just been an armed robbery at the Town and Country Bank located at 1804 North Highway 63 in Rolla.

Officers from the Rolla Police Department, Phelps County Sheriff's Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigations responded to the scene.

Upon arrival it was determined that a heavy set white male had robbed the bank and displayed a pistol while doing so. The robber left the bank on foot with an unreleased amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.

A description of the Robbery Suspect is:

White male
Heavy set
Approximately 5'10" – 6'00" tall
Wearing a blue button up shirt, black coat, black ball cap, blue jeans and work boots
Carrying a grey or green bag similar to a small duffle bag or soft sided tool bag

The bank robbery is currently under investigation by members of the Rolla Police Department's Division of Criminal Investigations and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

These are not the pictures that were on the front page of the Rolla Daily News from the security camera at the bank. This man looks nothing like the man that was diplayed. I still have that paper and again I have reported over and over that the person that was in the actually picture was reported by me. What the heck is going on here....
